If you are looking for a great sports wheel, look no further than the Spinergy SLX (Sport Light Extreme). I have had a few pair of the 18-spoke version and I absolutely love these wheels. With the choice of 18- and 24-spoke wheels you can choose just how rugged you want to go with minimal weight difference.
Over the last many years, I have gone through a few pairs of Spinergy wheels and loved each and every one of them. I have a new favorite now in the 12-Spoke LX (Light Extreme). It has a thinner hub and is quite a bit lighter than SLX (Sport Light Extreme), yet is still just as long lasting and rugged as the SLX.
I have had my Spinergy SLX (Sport Light Extreme) Wheels with the optional R10 hub and beefy 5/8" axles for a little over a year now and I cannot say enough good about them.
