My Tattoos

A lot of people over the years have asked me about my tattoos. They ask most often who did them, or simply make a comment that they like the colors or the ever popular, “Wow, that must have hurt!” Some delve a bit deeper and ask what they mean. To me, my tattoos mean so many different things and well, a deep representation of a part of my life, my story. Each part of my tattoos has either been drawn by me or designed by me with the help of some skilled tattoo artists to get the final art out of my head and onto my skin.

Singapore - May 2009

Today I am off to Singapore with a good friend of mine. We get our usual driver to the airport from Monarch Corporate Hire -- Bill always gets us there on time. We get dropped off at the curb and head in to the first class international check-in at Melbourne’s Tullemarine Airport. This check-in is the easiest I have ever been thru. Once we make our way thru the duty free section, that they seem to force you thru on your way out, we hopped on the elevator up to the first class lounge for Qantas Airlines. We tried to get ourselves ready for the long flight ahead by way of a massage but the spa was booked up for the rest of the day. Oh well, maybe next time…

Skydive Boogie - DeLand, FL

With a very, very early morning ride from a good friend to Grand Rapids Airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I quickly made my way through the self check in at the Delta Airlines counter and up to Starbucks for a bit of food and a coffee. After my pit stop to put something in my stomach,

How-To: Jet Skiing

Recently, I took a trip to Pattaya, Thailand with some friends and on one of the days that we were there we rented a few jet skis and went for about an hour ride in the ocean. I got to thinking that this might be a bit odd to see someone go from their wheelchair onto a jet ski and spend an hour ripping around the waves. So, I thought it might be good to give some explanation, not only to those who would just wonder how I do it, but to those looking to try it themselves.
