Initial impression:

This tent already shocks me how small and light-weight it is in its bag. It is considerably lighter than my Eureka Freedom tent at 5.2 pounds. The Freedom tent all torn down in its bag is still about the size of a 5-gallon bucket and weighs 20 lbs. Definitely not suitable for a trek trip on a handcycle.

It has a good looking carry pack, with the fun yellow/grey/black combo. And comes across as a durable pack with ballistic Cordura construction and strong stitching. with big compression straps to tighten down around it, making it even smaller.

The overall size is thin enough to not interfere with my wheels or arms as I push with it hanging sideways off the bottom of my Ledge Sport Adventure 65L pack. It tucks in just right.

After 1st Trip:

Well, this tent did not disappoint in any way, shape or form. In fact, it exceeded all my expectations. It was easy to set up, even by myself in no time flat. And it was able to handle the abuse I inflicted on it for 26 days straight in China. It was tossed around buses, trains and taxis and didn't blow a seam or bend anything inside the pack.

The overall design of the tent is simple and easy to pitch and tear down. The inside is plenty of room for even 2 people and a bit of gear. A lot of thought was put into even the smallest details of the tent. You can tell it was designed by people who actually use the gear. I look forward to many treks with this pack to come. I have no doubt it will handle lots of repeated abuse, I mean use. Yes, kind and gentle use.
